You may download free teacher guides and free review versions of the student books (for computer display only) from the GSS view/download pages (password protected). The free sample books are non-printing and NOT for local reproduction at your school for use with classes.

If you decide to use the Global Systems Science materials in your classrooms, you may do so in several ways:

  1. Buy hardcopy books. This is the most expensive option. Current costs of hard copy books may be found on the GSS PO/check order page or the online order pages.
  2. Buy the complete set of GSS materials (books and software) on CD-ROM. Students can use the materials on computer displays at school and/or at home. They have license to print 2 copies of any or all the pages of the books. See current costs.
  3. Pay a license fee to make copies of the GSS e-books and/or "self-publish" the materials in hard copies.
  4. If you have some students who can or prefer to use GSS e-books at home and some students who are not able to use GSS e-books, you can "mix and match"—get some hard copies and some some GSS CD-ROMs or licenses in proportions to suit your student population.

The Global System Science program is supported by book and CD-ROM sales, license fees, and whatever grants we succeed in obtaining. By paying for materials or license fees, you assure the highest quality and future availability of GSS materials.
