Science Fun Full-Day Camp

Come spend an entire day at LHS in this exciting, weeklong, hands-on science camp. We will have fun exploring biology, chemistry, physics, and math; doing experiments; making projects; and solving math games and puzzles. Visits to the Botanical Garden, our local pond, and outside exhibits make the camp a good chance to experience science both indoors and out. (Campers need to bring their own lunch and snacks daily.)

City Builders Full-Day Camp

Calling all architects and engineers! There’s more to building a city than blocks alone. Scale, size, planning, and creative use of reclaimed materials will help the group to design and build unique structures, bridges, parks, and more. We’ll supply the materials to put together a giant indoor city; you supply the creativity! (Campers need to bring their own lunch and snacks daily.)

High School Nanotechnology Full-Day Camp

What’s the big deal with nanoscience? This all-day camp for high school students focuses on the smallest technology around. Students will fabricate their own nanomaterials and devices, explore current issues in nanotechnology, and visit several UC Berkeley labs that are at the forefront of nanoscience research.
