Lawrence Hall of Science is a unique resource for family education. From the exhibits and activities on the museum floor, to the classes and curriculum, LHS can offer that special trip or core support that you need.

Visit Lawrence Hall of Science and use our exhibits as a place for you to discover the geology of California and the Bay Area. Create your own structures with KAPLA® blocks. Explore the NanoZone at LHS, and discover the world of the ultrasmall. Play the world’s most popular games, including Hex, Kalah, Game Sticks, and Shongo Networks. Be sure to look at our changing special exhibits for one that ties into your interests.

Lawrence Hall of Science’s Center for Curriculum Innovation creates instructional materials in mathematics and science for preschool through grade 12 for use by students, teachers and other educators, parents and families. Experienced teams of LHS educators contribute to research, theory, and the creation of high standards for science and mathematics learning that actively involve students in learning.
