Ocean Immersion™ in Northern California

Schools in the Eureka, California area participate in Ocean Immersion™ Months through the Families and Schools™ Project, an innovative approach to transforming science instruction in rural schools.

Local Flavor

• Is a good website being blocked by the ECS District's filter? The Tech center can lift the block on any good website if you ask them.
• A good resource for Ocean Month volunteers is R.S.V.P., also known as V-corp.
• Maggie Ramsey, Grant, does a great microscope class - contact her 441-2552 for co-teaching.
• Carol Goodwyn, Grant, does a great Clam Dissection - contact her 441-2552 for co-teaching.
• Mary Flowers, Worthington 02-03, has developed a lovely puzzle of the life cycle of salmon. Contact her to arrange to borrow it.
