Come to the best slumber parties around: at the Lawrence Hall of Science!

These sleepovers are just for Junior Girl Scouts and friends. Experience a full evening program with free time to explore the exhibits and adventures that will include some of the following: an entertaining assembly, festival, and interactive Girl Scout Logo

workshops. Sleep in the halls under our special featured exhibits. Evening snacks will be provided, and in the morning enjoy a wonderful continental breakfast.

Who: Girls grades 3-6

Saturday – Sunday, November 17 - 18, 2007 (Wild Music exhibit)

Saturday – Sunday, February 23 - 24, 2008 (Speed exhibit)

Saturday - Sunday, May 3 – 4, 2008 (Speed exhibit) (Note: Please register through LHS for this date only)

Where: Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley
Cost: $55 (Patch included) per person
Capacity: 150 min/250 max. Ratio of one adult per 5 Girlscouts.

Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Allow at least 2 hours for visit.)
Where: Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley
Cost: $13 per person pre-registered, $14 at the door. Includes admission to Lawrence Hall of Science exhibits but does not include parking. One adult chaperone is required for every six children. Patches not included.

Build It Day

You will become engineers as you build bridges, towers, and tunnels. Help bears cross a bridge so they can go to their picnic, and build a tunnel for our story mice. Can you build a tower taller than you are?

Down to Earth: Bugs And All

You will create a living habitat to take home. Make your own miniature terrarium, and learn what plants and animals need for healthy lives. Race isopods. Identify male and female crickets. Touch a real live Madagascar cockroach, if you wish, at the end of the class.
