Animal Discovery Room

Come to the Animal Discovery Room (ADR) and:

• hold and touch gentle animals
• come face to face with exotic species
• play with self-guided activities and specimen models
• discover more about yourself and other organisms.

Visitors of all ages can experience something new every time they visit the Animal Discovery Room. During the hours the ADR is open, LHS staff members are available to answer your questions.

School Year Hours:  1:30-4:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.  Open on the following holidays: Labor Day, Veterans Day, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day.  Open for Winter break: Dec. 19-23, and Dec. 26, 2009-Jan 3, 2010.  Closed Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
